A slow day among rolling hills, endless vineyards and medieval castles
What will we do:
Incontro con la nostra guida a Torino e partenza per una fantastica giornata nella regione Langhe, Roero e Monferrato, una regione Patrimonio dell’Unesco per la bellezza del territorio e per l’armonia che l’uomo ha saputo creare nei secoli, con questa meravigliosa regione, fatta di Castelli, vigneti e piccole magie.
We will cross Bra, the city of sheep cheese and Pollenzo, home of the University of Taste of Slow Food, unique in the world of its kind. Following the splendid profiles of the Barolo hills, we will stop at the Barolo Castle to start tasting the products of the region. We will continue surrounded by fabulous landscapes to Alba, the city of truffles and Barbaresco where we will stop for lunch.
In the afternoon we will visit Canelli and the Underground Cathedrals where the famous sweet sparkling wines are produced, and then move to Monferrato in Nice, the city of gastronomic excellence that can be tasted in a short but surprising tour of the taverns concentrated in the wonderful historic center.
Last stop of the day the Infernot del Monferrato Casalese, small underground chambers dug into the sandstone and perfect for the maturation of a wine that is born noble and becomes extraordinary. Each Infernot is an extraordinary work of art and extraordinary will be the visit and tasting.
In the evening return to Turin, but with the desire, we are sure, of a slower journey in this wonderful region, choosing our three days:
